"My favorite part of working at the camp is watching the cadets interact with each other. They are not allowed to have any electronics the entire week, and it's amazing to see them relearn in-person communication. By the second day, they pretty much forget about their phones and are very engaged with their peers and the adult mentors. That's when we start to see true teamwork, hear them open up and talk about their personal journeys, and share future ambitions. The staff who volunteer for this camp are wonderful individuals who are invested in the youth of our communities and share a passion for making the world a better place. I truly enjoy working as part of this camp family each summer!"
